Yannis Baraban, trained at the Rue Blanche school then at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art, he was Armand Duval alongside Isabelle Adjani in La Dame aux Camelias directed by Alfredo Arias. He was nominated for a Molières award for his role in Bent by Martin Sherman, directed by Thierry Lavat. He plays Treplev in Chekov's The Seagull directed by Christophe Lidon. He works with Hans Peter Cloos, Aurelien Recoing, Jean François Peyret. He played Count Orsino in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night directed by Nicolas Briançon, Lord Goring in An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde directed by Isabelle Ratier, A Special Day by Ettore Scola directed by C. Lidon, in Amphitryon by Molière directed by Stephanie Tesson. He will play Love's Troubles by JL Brooks directed by Johanna Boyé at the 2019 Avignon Festival. He makes his cinema debut in the film Vercingetorix directed by Jacques Dorfman. On television he works with Gilles Béhat, Jean Claude Sussfeld, Patrick Volson, Laurence Katrian, Vincenzo Marano, Pierre Joassin, Pierre Antoine Hiroz, Alain Vermus, Christiane Spiero, Nina Companeez, Jean Christophe Delpias and Philippe Niang. He was the Zodiac in the TF1 sagas Zodiac and The
Master of the Zodiac made by Claude Michel Rome.
